Department for International Development Community Linking Programme

in

The Community Linking Programme is a new project that offers funding and support to UK community groups that have a link with a group in Africa, Asia, Latin America or the Caribbean.

The project is run by the Department for International Development. Over the next six months they are running a survey to find out how many community groups in the UK are already in touch with a group in another country, what activities they do in their link, and what support they’d like for their link. A link might be a charitable project with a community in a developing country, an exchange programme or visits to a particular community, or a wide-reaching community partnership, or something different.

The survey will provide a picture of community linking in the UK and the range of support available. To find out more and to take part visit www.dfid.gov.uk/dclp
