LLC Members Event at Southwark Cathedral, London Bridge - 29th May 2012

London Learning Consortium (LLC) is pleased to invite you to an exclusive member’s event to be held on 29th May in the Garry Weston Library at Southwark Cathedral. Please note that this is a members only event, however membership is free for third sector organisations and a membership form can be downloaded via LLC's website - www.londonlc.org.uk

This will inform you about two key areas that could have a significant impact on funding opportunities for 2012/13.

  • The New Challenges, New Chances Strategy document, which outlines the Government's funding priorities and how as a consortium we can provide services that can meet this agenda going forward.
  • Subcontracting opportunities for 2012/2013 for LLC providers and members.

The event will also provide workshop opportunities to cover specific areas of focus and provide a platform for initial discussions about branding and closer collaboration going forward
Please note: Only attendees at this conference will be considered for funding in 2012/13.

11.45 LLC Delivery Partnership NEET Project – Impact Assessment
Workshop to share good practice, experience and ideas focusing on:

  • Flexible approaches to learner support
  • New ways of working to secure progressions.
  • Opportunties for new partners in 2012/13.

12.30: Lunch

1:15 Subcontracting opportunities for 2012/13.
This will include possible subcontracting opportunities for 2012/13 under various funding streams. These will be predominately for small/medium learning and skills providers that can offer accredited learning provision at the heart of London’s communities

A demonstration of Moodle and how LLC is developing its use for our providers/members

3.00 Web Enrol: Using the Web to Publish Courses and Enrol Learners
A demonstration of how LLC is developing its online course details and enrolment services for providers/members.

3:15 Skills for Life: Moving from Key to Functional Skills
A workshop session on supporting providers making an effective transition.
