Stroke and trauma consultation
All London Primary Care Trusts are consulting on plans to develop new, high-quality major trauma and stroke services in London. Introducing specialist care in London for people who suffer a severe injury (major trauma) or stroke could save hundreds of lives and significantly reduce disability for thousands of others.
Currently the standard of care varies considerably across London. While some people in London are accessing good quality services, far too many are missing out and not receiving the best quality care.
