How accessible do you find public transport in London?

The Transport Committee is investigating how accessible London's public transport network is for people with reduced mobility, and what could be done to improve things.

What is it like to navigate London’s public transport network if you have a disability or reduced mobility?

The Transport Committee is looking at how successful initiatives to improve the accessibility have been, to identify practical and cost-effective ways of making the public transport network more user-friendly for all Londoners. With budget pressures and competing priorities, are the Mayor's and Transport for London's commitments to improving accessibility translating into action?

The committee will consider the 'whole journey' experience of people with reduced mobility, including people in wheelchairs, older people, and people with buggies and young children. The investigation will cover the passenger experience from journey planning through using each form of transport – including buses, Tubes and trains – and the interchanges between them.
