Borough Commanders personal message 11th May 2012
Dear friends,
It has been another very positive week overall in Merton. We have had further reductions in robberies this week. Whilst we need to keep a focus on this, there have been none reported to us over the last two days which is superb.
My CID department have also had other successes that have included charging some of our high profile criminals and I can promise you, we will continue working hard on locking up as many more as possible. I am confident that we will have fewer victims of crime in Merton.
Weekly update from the Police Borough Commander
Dear Friends,
A really good week at Merton, some brilliant work by my officers that has included a suspect wanted for recall to prison arrested in possession of 2 firearms and a number of people arrested for Burglary.
Latest message from Merton Police Borough Commander Darren Williams
Dear all
We have made an excellent start to the performance year with reductions in Residential Burglary, Robbery and Theft of Motor Vehicle just three examples of the excellent work that your officers and teams have achieved.
Many of you will have heard me say that we have one over arching priority and that is to have less victims of crime than last year.
