Welcome to the Apostles Residents Association (ARA). On these pages you can find the minutes of our meetings and details of future meetings, current and past newsletters and other items of local interest.
WHAT THE ASSOCIATION DOES
Acts as a focus between residents and the Council for discussion of important local issues (eg Controlled Parking Zone, planning applications).
Is represented on various Council liaison committees and local forums and is consulted by them on local issues.
Liaises with other residents associations on important issues, which affect a larger area (eg Prince George’s Playing Fields). The ARA is a member association of the Raynes Park Association.
Monitors planning applications in and near the Apostles and, where considered appropriate, raises concerns with the Council about proposals that might adversely affect local residents.
Keeps residents informed, either by newsletter, by organising public meetings and/or by posting information on this website.
Maintains contact with local Ward Councillors and police, obtaining their support on local issues where necessary.
