Children’s Workforce Induction Day

Is your organisation working with children and young people in Merton?
The Merton Children’s Trust is hosting the next Children’s Workforce Induction Day (formerly known as the Children, Schools and Family Departmental Induction). This is an opportunity for any new staff to develop an understanding of Merton’s approach to integrated, multi-agency working with children, young people and families.

Target Audience:
Open to all new members of staff from any statutory, community, voluntary, private or independent organisation in Merton working with children, young people and families. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Aims and Objectives:
To provide participants with an introduction to:

• Young People’s views of the people who support them
• Merton Children’s Trust structure and it’s key priorities
• Safeguarding
• The Common Assessment Framework
• Information Sharing
• The Common Core Skills
• Multi-agency working in Merton

Cost: This induction programme will be delivered free of charge
Post Registration Teaching and Learning: This course will count as 6 hours PRTL where applicable
