Two vacancies at South Thames Crossroads

South Thames Crossroads, the charity which provides practical and emotional support to carers, is recruiting for the following posts:

Club Lead - Afterschool Club (Mitcham area)
£14.79 per hour – Term-time only

We have recently developed an after school club for children with learning  disabilities which is being held at the Cricket Green School in Mitcham.  The club currently operates on three days per week from 2.45 – 6.15pm.  The club has secure funding for three years. As Club Lead you will be  responsible for organising play activities, external visits for the children/  young people and workshops. It is essential that you have a relevant  qualification and have experience of working with children/young people  and staff supervision.

Children and Young People's Home Support Worker
£7.93 - £11.28 per hour

If you are interested in working with children with learning or physical  disabilities and are caring, calm, reliable, considerate and experienced in  using play and activities to support child development we would like to hear  from you. You must be able to work after school, evenings and weekends. Qualifications/experience in this field is highly desirable but not essential as training is provided with opportunities to undertake NVQ 2/3.
