The Ethnic Minority Centre is an umbrella Organisation for all the Black and Minority Ethnic groups in Merton.

The Ethnic Minority Centre was established in 1990 to meet the growing needs for a base for BME Communities with core funding provided by the London Borough of Merton.

The Ethnic Minority Centre is a long established and yet innovative “umbrella” organisation. Whose primary objectives are to meet the social, cultural and educational needs of all various BME communities in Merton?
                                                            

It is also a stakeholder in bringing integration and community cohesion among the minority communities and the wider community in the borough.

 Services provided are:
a) Advice and support
b) Support for individual groups
c) Music and cultural activities
d) Community Drug and Alcohol Awareness Project
e) Asian Women Feeling Good Group 

f) Cancer support Group
f) Racial Harmony Project

g) Preventing Violent Extremism
