Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards (UK)
The Tesco Charity Trust has announced that it will start accepting applications for projects that support the Elderly and Adults and Children with disabilities from the 1st August until the 30th September 2010. The funding is available to community and voluntary groups who can apply for grants of between £1,000 and £5,000

Healthy Hearts Grants (UK)
Heart Research UK Healthy Heart Grants support innovative projects designed to promote heart health and to prevent or reduce the risks of heart disease in specific groups or communities.
Grants of up to £10,000 are available to community groups, voluntary organisations and researchers who are spreading the healthy heart message. There are two applications rounds per year. Applications are only accepted during January and February for the May round of grants and July and August for grants awarded in

Community Wildlife Programme
Community Wildlife will fund projects that bring local people together to discover, enjoy or protect the wildlife in their local area. BIG have teamed up with the BBC Wildlife Fund’s Go Wild campaign to bring you the Community Wildlife programme. This new programme will fund projects that bring local people together to discover, enjoy or protect the wildlife in their local area.
The programme will fund between £300 and £10,000 for projects that improve rural or urban environments for people to enjoy or get people more active and healthier. For more details click here.
