As part of a multi-million pound investment the Mayor is making into the infrastructure of Sport in London, the National Skills Academy is managing a £3 million investment into skills for volunteers and employees working in community sport and physical activity.

Government publishes plans for social care

The government has published its plans for adult social care services, A Vision for Adult Social Care: Capable Communities and Active Citizens. The Department of Health has also launched a consultation titled Transparency in outcomes: a framework for adult social care - a new strategic approach to quality and outcomes in adult social care.
