New guidance for health and social care professionals on local involvement

The Department of Health has updated its guidance to health and social care professionals on the role of LINks, and has included work by LINk Merton as a good practice case study.

The guide entitled Engaging and responding to communities: a brief guide to local involvement outlines how, LINks can help health and social care managers better understand the needs of their community. It highlights the joint work by LINk Merton and NHS Sutton and Merton in trying to improve access to information for local people with a visual impairment.
