Project Outputs

The project will deliver:

• deliver 600 beneficiaries engaged on to the project
  

• 465 employment support outputs, 180 skills and 30 volunteer placements
  

• 150 local businesses will receive business support to improve their performance and 25 jobs will be safeguarded
  

• a newsletter for town centre businesses and produce case studies on businesses that are successfully retained in the area 

• temporary hard landscaping for part of the Fair Green to create a Market Square and provide a new home for the
  

• street market to enable it to continue trading through out the development period
  

• refurbish the Clock Tower, re-seed worn parts of the Fair Green, erect town centre notice boards, and replace street furniture
  

• a regular programme of visits to town centre businesses in order to update them on the redevelopment and to take forward any issues they need resolving
  

• regular networking events that will engender town centre businesses with a sense of identity and community
  

• and establish a new Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Reduction Partnership to help reduce in particular commercial and environmental crime in particular in the town centre.
