Merton MIND

Merton Mind was formed at an inaugural meeting on the 10th February 1978. The meeting was chaired by Ted Higgins, who was also heavily involved in the work of Merton Mind from the start.
Merton Mind had traditionally developed its Services for two specific client groups, Adult Services for people with Mental Health problems aged 18-65 and Elderly Services aged 65 and over.
Merton Mind is committed to supporting people with mental health problems to enable them and Carers actively to live and participate in the community.
Merton Mind recognises its responsibility for promoting the following rights:
