St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust is holding an Equality Assessment on 12 January. Local communities are invited to sharing their views and experiences of St George’s Healthcare NHS and offer suggestions on how they can be improved.

The NHS Equality and Diversity Council has developed an Equality Delivery System (EDS) to help patients, staff and NHS organisations understand how equality can drive improvements and strengthen accountability of services to patients and the public.
At the heart of the EDS are four goals, and it is against these that we will be assessing the trust’s performance during the workshop:
The four goals are:-
• Better health outcomes for all
• Improved patient access and experience
• Empowered, engaged and well-supported staff
• Inclusive leadership at all levels
