Carers Wellbeing Day
CARERS SUPPORT MERTON
CARERS WELLBEING DAY – THURSDAY 4TH MARCH – VESTRY HALL MITCHAM
Carers spend many hours looking after someone else and very easily forget that they also need looking after. In conjunction with the Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust our Wellbeing Day is all about helping the carer to keep healthy both mentally and physically so they can continue to do the fantastic job of caring for somebody else.
We will be having advice and information stands including guidance on cancer screening, cholesterol and blood pressure checks, helping stop smoking, eye tests plus lots more. An exercise instructor will be on hand and there will be weight loss advice. Our carers can relax by having a mini treatment followed by guidance on healthy eating and we have a FREE healthy eating café where carers and their friends can enjoy a healthy lunch.
The event is being held on Thursday 4th March from 11.00am to 4.00pm at The Vestry Hall, London Road, Mitcham, CR4 3UD.
