Raising awareness of end-of-life care

As part of “Dying Matters Awareness Week” (15-21 March), NHS Sutton and Merton is holding two events in the local community offering information and guidance on the various types of end of life care and support available for residents of Sutton and Merton.

You are invited to drop by any time and find out more. Events will take place on:

• Tuesday, 16 March, 11am – 3pm, St Helier hospital (outside the cafeteria)

• Thursday, 18 March, 11am – 3pm, Merton Civic Centre foyer

The events are aimed at increasing awareness amongst local people of the choices for end of life care and to encourage people to talk about their wishes towards the end of their lives, including where they want to die and their funeral plans, with friends, family and loved ones. There will also be the opportunity for people to give views on end-of-life services received by friends or family.
