Merton Priory Homes Community Fund focus group

2 Feb 2012 10:00

Merton Priory Homes is reviewing its Community Fund Grants Programme to inform a forward plan for the next three years.
We are looking for representatives from local community groups, resident groups, social enterprises and voluntary sector organisations to attend the following focus groups:

1. Evaluating our Objectives
Wednesday 1st February – 10am to 1pm (followed by lunch)
This Focus Group will look at the Community Fund Objectives:
Have local needs changed? Are there gaps in our objectives?
Are these still the key priorities or should they be adapted to meet additional need?

2. Reviewing our Grant Programme Structure
Thursday 2nd February – 10am to 1pm (followed by lunch)
This Focus Group will look at the Community Fund Grant Programme Structure:
What have we learnt from the last 2 years using the current structure?
What works? What doesn’t? What changes need to be made?

3. Improving our Capacity Building
Thursday 2nd February – 2pm to 5pm (please arrive at 1pm for lunch)
This Focus Group will look at a Capacity Building approach.
How can we support small local community groups to apply to the Community Fund?
How can we support local residents to set up new groups to meet identified need?
