INVOLVE meeting

Topics include the latest position on LBM budgets, how the voluntary sector can engage with the Census and working with the new Wilson Health Centre.

INVOLVE is Merton’s Community Engagement Network. It is a network of voluntary, community and faith organisations in the borough and is open for anyone from local groups to attend.

Speakers for the meeting:

• Latest position on Council Budgets. Simon Williams, LBM Director of Community and Housing will give an update on the latest situation on LBM funding
• Preparation for the Census 2011. Kris Witherington, Community Engagement Manager, LBM Chief Executives department will discuss plans for the Census and opportunities for the voluntary sector to help raise take up amongst Merton’s communities
• Wilson Health Centre: Paul Harvey. Find out more about the Health Centre next to the Wilson Hospital and explore how the voluntary sector can work together with the new service.
