Health event for hard to reach migrant communities

There will be a health event for hard to reach and migrant communities in Merton on July 27th at the Acacia Intergenerational Centre 230 Grove Road, Mitcham CR4 1SD.

The event will be a day of family health and wellbeing.

The garden will be open and it will be an opportunity to engage and educate participants on health and wellbeing, nutrition, smoking cessation, diabetes , lung disease and childrens fitness and wellbeing.

The outline scheduling will be as follows..

10.30am – Café style education – informal tables set up to meet and greet guests, with live education on smoking cessation, weigh management , diabetes, lung disease etc etc..
11.00am – Cook out in indoor area
11.30am – Kicking n Alive sessions outside on fabulous grounds
12.00am Children’s entertainer
1pm - Cook Out again
1.30pm - Relaxation session fun for all
2.00pm Lots of activities all happening at once
2.30pm – Grand Finale
