Playday 2010 at Acacia Intergenerational Centre on August 4

August 4 is National Playday, a celebration of children's right to play and a campaign that raises awareness about issues affecting children's play.

Merton is having its own Playday at the new Acacia Intergenerational Centre, 230 Grove Road, Mitcham Eastfields CR4 1SD, on August 4 from 12pm to 4pm. Children can play, chat and enjoy themselves with lots of activities and workshops. They will also have the first opportunity to see and comment on Merton's brand new Adventure Playground, which will be opening this autumn.

Activities will be suitable for children and young people up to age 14 and will be free.
