YOUTH SUPPORT PROGRAMME
To provide preventative counselling, support and education for young people aged 13 -18 years of age who have witnessed domestic violence in the homeand as a result have experience physical and emotional abuse.
The project offers three days residential peer education seminar and workshops, focus groups on the following six themes:
Violence in the home, physical and emotional abuse, Feelings and relationships, problem solving/ choices and values leadership skills, sexual health , young people and crime and offending behaviour.
MEN'S DV PROJECT
To introduce a new model of intervention and prevention of domestic violence by training African men to become advocates, counsellors and peer educators to work towards stopping domestic violence. The project will focus on mainly young men from the age of 14 years who are potential pepatrators especially those frome homes affected by Domestic Violence.
