South London Tamil Welfare Group
South London Tamil Welfare Group is a registered charity, working for the Tamil Community from 1985.
We support Tamil refugees by providing Advice and Services relating to their Immigration, Welfare benefits, housing, education, employment and training needs.
We are based in Colliers Wood, and work across South London Boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth, Croydon and Kingston. Over the years, we have built up strong partnerships with Funding bodies, Supporters and main stakeholders.
Our organisation is managed by a board of trustees and managers, and our services are delivered by a team of committed and trained staff and volunteers.
Our Vision is to enhance the quality of life of the Tamil community, and to see that they all live with dignity and honour in the United Kingdom.
Our Objectives are to provide advise and information services, advancement of education and provision of facilities for recreation.
Our strategic aims:
- To ensure our clients find our services both useful and rewarding
- To respect the individual needs of our clients and provide suitable opportunities wherever required
- To work closely with our clients to ensure they are continually shown a high level of service, while striving to meet their needs
- To maximize our service provisons through partnerships with other organisations.
- Ensure SLTWG remains a sustainable organisation
