Our Mission
The Vine Project is a Christian based organisation that aims to be a dedicated team serving our local community to bring a positive change to people's lives and to improve the quality of our environment.
Objectives and Activities
Our charitable objectives are
1. To relieve poverty, especially by providing a furniture and goods recycling service for those in need. All our clients are referred from other local charitable or statutory agencies, and most have been homeless or fled domestic violence.
2. To provide training and education in practical life and job skills - particularly providing supportive opportunities for adults with extra support needs, or who have been out of the workplace for some time. we can offer accreddited work skills training.
The Vine Project aims to be distinctive by the quality of goods and services it offers to all its clients. We are a growing, enthusiastic and vibrant project that can involve all sections of our community as Volunteers, Donors or Clients. We have five full time and seven part time paid staff and around 100 committed volunteers from the local community.
